On my first month at this veterinarian I spent a total of $700 when my dog had worms, after 3 visits in which the doctor ordered unnecessary probiotics (forti-flora), antiemetics, flea pills when the dog was on a flea medication already, special canned food, and other tests. My dog was not dying, all he needed was the $5 metronidazole that he sold to me along with $207 more that visit. I hope this serves those who simply cannot give their money (or maybe taken from them is a better phrase).
